One of our longest Philanthropy services partnerships is with the popular youth organization, The Remix Project. Since 2009, Hermann & Audrey has supported Remix through development and communications services for its fundraising initiatives. Together, we have been able to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the award winning youth organization based in Toronto.
Hermann & Audrey is pleased to announce the addition of a commercial gallery and production studio on the main floor of the Lacuna Arts Lofts at 2150 S Canalport in Chicago. Alongside our 1506 Dundas Street West location in Toronto, Hermann & Audrey is proud to now offer its growing community two commercial galleries, production studios and special event spaces.
The screening room of Ian Schrager’s Public Chicago played host to the art and film of Cory Vanderploeg on December 18th. Many thanks to our hosts, and those who joined us for Hermann & Audrey’s first use of the hotel to mount an exhibit. The evening included screenings of fashion films A House No More and Zoe.trope against an installation of COLOSSAL, Vanderploeg’s 2013 World Mastercard Fashion Week print exhibit in collaboration with designer Laura Siegel.
As part of a series of exhibitions in support of The Remix Project, Chicago the Brave features professional local artists between the ages of 20 to 40 curate one night presentations of their latest work. Tara Jean Popowich “freestyled her way to the top”. She was named the country’s best dancer when she won ‘So You think You Can Dance Canada Season 2. Seeing her fly through the air during that season was much like she did once again in front of Carty’s lens.
