From test shot to commission
A few weeks ago I was in Chicago shooting for Lamborghini Chicago. I was lucky enough to be able to drive around and scope some locations for our action shots with the Gallardo. During the scout we drove past a 2012 phantom ghost, and I just had to shoot it. I scrambled to get the correct settings on my camera and I shot it out the backseat of the car I was in as it drove the other way. For one frame it turned out pretty wicked.
This image is straight out of the camera, and as soon as I looked at the back of the camera I knew how I was going to shoot the Gallardo in motion.
This shot allowed me to know exactly what I wanted and it made shooting very simple. We only had to shoot for about 15 minutes, driving up and down a street to get a somewhat perfect shot. Here are the two that Lamborghini ended up choosing.
I went a bit artistic on these shots, but I think they turned out fantastic.
