With a workshop led by celebrated collage-artist and designer JP King, at your disposal is a massive library of vintage magazines, salvaged paper, washi tape, and blank cards. King will lead a hands-on workshop covering three collage techniques that can help to make your holiday cards into unique and elegant modernist artworks. No macaroni. No glitter. Inclusive, playful, and fun, this workshop will see you off at the end of the night with a handful of holiday cards that you can gift as original artworks, or make copies of at a later date. $5 at the door covers all materials and workshop participation. Children welcome!
Collage party features 5 Hours of collage-making music to help you get your scissor technique on! Highlighting an eclectic mix of global funk, soulful folk, quirky electronics, and tender ambient music, tunes will be dug out of JP King’s personal vinyl collection and played for your creative pleasure!
