Win Wenders (one of my favourite directors – Faraway So Close, Paris Texas, Notebooks on Cities and Clothes, Buena Vista Social Club, etc) directed this amazing film on the work of the late Pina Bausch, one of the most impactful and influential contemporary dancers. The film is shot in 3D, which really allows the capturing of the dimension and powers of Pina’s work. Now playing at TIFF lightbox, this is definitely an inspiring and beautiful film, so make sure to go check it out!
