In support of Bud Light’s #UPFORWHATEVER campaign, Hermann & Audrey Projects was commissioned to curate the street arts program for the 3 day festival in Crested Butte Colorado. 1000 contest winners were flown in for the weekend of a lifetime to take part in a massive festival of music, art, party and of course, beer. The Whatever USA project won a bronze in Cannes for our client Mosaic XM.

Alongside 8 contemporary artists representing all corners of the United States, our team descended upon the small northern ski town and make a visually exciting and artistically integrated layer of beautification of the massive commercial production that was WHATEVER USA. From giant painted rhino statues and soap box derby racing cars to collaborative, fluorescent canvasses used throughout festival, these art pieces helped to not only bring the party to new heights, but also acted as an authentic connection point to the artistic nature of the host town.
