On Thursday, March 20th, Hermann & Audrey hosted the 3rd monthly Fashion Film House showcasing the raw, whimsical worlds of Kirsten Miccoli’s Photography in the Public Hotel’s Chicago Screening Room. Kirsten’s work, inspired by beauty and the people in the world around her, creates whimsical worlds that tell a story of the garments she photographs.
Resident Artist, Cory Vanderploeg, was mentioned in Claythorne Communications‘ blog, Wax & Wane. The feature called Cory “an award winning photographer…published nationally for his photography and motion work predominantly in the fashion world.” Claythorne Communications is a boutique PR firm based in Toronto, passionate about aligning cutting-edge brands with a unique story to tell. Wax & Wane casts a spotlight on admired creative minds who Claythorne feels are “all around rad individuals.”

FASHION Magazine online published an article about Hermann & Audrey’s Life Cycles 2013. Life Cycles is an interactive, engagement-based art showcase and community event program about bicycles and the people who ride them. The magazine noted that “the artworks explore the bicycle as a vehicle for expression of personal style, as well as an action towards a sustainable future and unifier of community.” FASHION Magazine is filled with up-to-the-minute news from the runways of New York, London, Milan and Paris. As well as delivering the best finds in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, FASHION Magazine continues to introduce readers to the personalities behind Canada’s fashion and retail scene.
A little while ago I shot an editorial for ION Magazine titled “Where Eagles Dare”. We shot it at night using all available light and other nonconventional lighting sources like emergency flares, and sparklers.
